About the LWA Ayida-Weyo

Ayda-Weyo, married to the LWA Damballah, is the LWA of water, snakes and the rainbow.  Like Dambala, she lives in the sky as well as in all the trees, springs, pools, and rivers.  She is very powerful, making her the perfect LWA to petition to for strength and for healing.  The rainbow serpent that represents her is a symbol in many parts of the world (Africa, Australia, America) that stands for  the integration of continuity, strength and wholeness. It also represents that which links heaven and earth.  Her mission is to provide strength and healing for the whole world and she cares deeply about and works hard to help all of those who are in need.
